DESCRIPTION
The is the city’s newest convention centre and the largest in terms of conference rooms (up to 70) and exhibition floor space (24,000m2). It is also the most conveniently located for the airport (just 10 km) and just two metro stops away from the city centre. Some of the city’s state-of-the-art hotels are located nearby as well as a popular shopping centre. The Gran Via Convention Centre is the most highly rated choice by the MICE sector in the Catalan capital. Its multifunctional facilities and flexibility are the keys to its success. The building was designed by Toyo Ito, winner of the 2013 Pritzker Architecture Prize.
